Thing collection observation

Thing collection observation

The vase we bought second hand
Pearl flowers mother over it
I pinch an anther and take pleasure in it
Egg pollen sack
The floorboard’s pure black crack
I get on my knees for a better look and stick my fingernail in
A band bound round a bag of chips
A metal bowl next to our postcard fridge
The image reflected upside-down there is
A single banana with spots all over it
And the candle’s black wick unlit
And our piano in the basement where I like it
And the world that says everything
Everything’s so important
