Corpulent, naked, flatulent, 
kneaded like clay, pushed 
and pulled into place, an 
amoeba changing its form, 
a phlegm-colored lung dusted 
with white-gloved fingerprints 
indented in its dimpled flesh 
puckered with cellulite, with 
the constant need to be floured 
and kept dry, kept in shape, 
rolled over and over like waves 
on a shore-line, its tubby two inch
girth ready to be cut into islands, 
treeless archipelagos, parceled out
and plopped down onto a well-
oiled, pre-heated, baking tray.
