Corpulent, naked, flatulent,
kneaded like clay, pushed
and pulled into place, an
amoeba changing its form,
a phlegm-colored lung dusted
with white-gloved fingerprints
indented in its dimpled flesh
puckered with cellulite, with
the constant need to be floured
and kept dry, kept in shape,
rolled over and over like waves
on a shore-line, its tubby two inch
girth ready to be cut into islands,
treeless archipelagos, parceled out
and plopped down onto a well-
oiled, pre-heated, baking tray.
