Xaris Kalaitzidis

After a disappointing year of law, I now study Human, Social, and Political Sciences at Cambridge, a degree which enables me to live my fantasy of exploring all the possible ways in which to critique capitalism. I mainly write in Greek (prose, poetry, and scripts) but I will attempt to write some English poetry for this fine journal. My (not merely) literary influences include Camus, Sartre, Kerouac, Ginsberg, Leivaditis, Cohen, Vonnegut, and Marquez. Through art, I try to reflect on experiences, make sense of the big mystery of my life and share some of my humble insights on what things mean. When I am not partaking in such highbrow activities, I also intensely enjoy having fun.
